Wet but willing!

Hi everyone,

Thanks for such a good turn out last night. Despite the rain I hope you all had a good training session. It was great to see the new lads looking and playing every bit the Central players that they will be during the season, and making new friendships.

Just to confirm our friendly on Saturday 30th August, against Central United and if we could meet at KGV at 10am that would be great!

Our aim is to play 4 x 20 minute quarters in this pre-season friendly, allowing more match time, coaching opportunities and opportunities to try out players in different positions. I look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Regards,

Mark

Testing, testing 1,2,3!!

Hello everyone and welcome to the first message of the new season!

One that I hope will be full of great football, great team spirit and lots of fun!

Just wanted to say hello and to make sure everyone is registered on the blog and getting these updates.

I am aware that we need to update this site, new pictures and details etc, if anyone has the skills and fancies helping me out that would be wonderful!

Just a few updates to start us off! Training this week on Wednesday 6pm – 7:30pm at KGV. This will include a parents and players get together so it would be great to see as many people as possible.

The weather is looking poor but we can always use the changing rooms if we need.

Saturday 30th August – Ahead of our first competitive match (on Saturday 6th Sept) I have organised a pre season friendly on Saturday 30th August against our friends at Central United FC. If we could meet at 10am at KGV please. If your not able to make this please let me know. This will be a chance to get everyone some match time and experiment with positions, especially with our new players joining us.

Sam Winton – I bring some sad news in that Sam has decided not to play for Central City this season. I know that this was a hard decision for Sam and we thank him for the part that he played in the season last year. Good luck Sam.

If you have not received a copy of the fixture list from me yet I will bring some spares, they are also posted on the League website

Please also be aware that we have a cup game on Saturday 4th October at home against Ottery St Mary.

As ever please get in touch if there any problems and look forward to seeing you on Wednesday.
 Regards
 Mark
