Just a quick note to congratulate the ‘Crediton 8’ who
played on Saturday at the well organised and well run Crediton 6 aside
tournament.
We won all 6 of the pool matches without conceding a single
goal, that was some achievement and one that we should be very proud of.
Then as we progressed into the quarter finals the heavens
opened!! Boy was it wet!! But we kept our concentration and nerve especially
when it went to a penalty shoot out!!
The semi final was equally as wet and another penalty shot out with Josh
having a great game in goal and scored the winning goal.
And so to the final! A tough match against a spirited
Cullumpton team, it was such a tight game and we gave it everything we had, losing
1-0 was no disgrace and the day was a spirited and enjoyable day to rival with “the”
Bideford trip!!
Well done to all that played and hope next Saturday will be
as good an experience!
